There are two Spider-Man clones, one has been altered to be more like a scorpion than a spider, and the other looks as though half of his body has been dipped in acid (the left half). This one has abducted Mary Jane, and plans to contaminate her with the Oz formula.

Mean while, Peter has discovered Gwen Stacey is still alive! Then Aunt May comes in, and Peter ends up telling her that he is Spider-Man. Aunt May then tells him to leave, that he can no longer live with her.

Then Peter's dad (who was supposed to have died while Peter was still a small child) comes into the house, and it seems as though Aunt May already knew that he was alive because she doesn't seem surprised.

And to end the issue with a huge cliff hangar......
